It was a sunny day. We were seated at a pretentious Melbourne cafe eating $32 avocado toast.
Here was a group of hipsters each sporting immaculately groomed beards.
Sipping on their 3/4 almond chai lattes, they lamented at the lack of awesome quality graphic t-shirts available.
They all agreed something needed to be done urgently. The excitement was palpable.
Naturally, we overheard them and appropriated the idea shortly after.
And thus, Threadheads was born.
We all sit together crammed in a small room Monday to Friday. We brainstorm ideas. And then we crank out original designs (often fuelled by excessive amounts of coffee). It's magical.
An invite-only platform featuring the most talented t-shirt artists in the world. Think superhuman illustrators. Genetically engineered. All sporting dashing good looks.
From ethically sourced garments to obsessive printing standards, our threads have earned over 5k five star reviews and counting. Be warned though – lesser tees may get a little self-conscious.
